Hangman Games is a small game company dedicated to producing interesting games for adults and families. We create quality card and board games which are challenging, social, have lively graphics, and are, above all else, fun. Each of our games is individually numbered and produced in a limited run of 1,000. We also offer a collectors club called the Silk Noose Club.

Hangman Games does not accept outside submissions. If you are an aspiring game designer, you should take a look at the Undertaker's Notes for informational links.

Letter from the Mayor:

I became a part of the board gaming community while I was in college. The big discussion at the time was the "graying of the hobby." Now that I am graying with the hobby, instead of the youth infusion, is that I have had to deal with the deaths of long time friends. In recent years, the gaming community has lost friends of mine like Paul Randles, Ed Okimoto, and, most recently, Jeff Gardner.

Jeff was a playtester for Hangman Games and part of our regular gaming group for the past 5 years. For those of you who never gamed with Jeff, I can tell you that he was often loud, always intense, and extremely fair. He played games for fun, but winning--especially against people he considered excellent opponents--was the primary goal. Okay, finishing ahead of his friends was the primary goal. That said, Jeff was someone who appreciated losing a hard fought, evenly matched game, better than anyone I know. Team Chum will never be the same.

We will miss you Jeff.

Alan D. Ernstein
Current Mayor of Hangman Games
