Q: The rules say that there should be 39 Event Cards, but I only have 38. Am I short an Event Card? A: Originally, the correct number was 38. However, we have printed a new card for anybody who bought Dry Gulch to add to their game. To receive the new card for free, contact us and we'll send it out posthaste. Q: The rules say that there should be 102 Family Member Counters, but the math (18 * 6) works out to 108. I have 108 counters, but only 102 stickers. Do I have too many counters or too few stickers? A: You have the correct number of each, but we put an incorrect number in the rules. You should have 102 counters and stickers with which to play the game. When assembling, we tried to include some extra counters to cover any losses. Q: Do Power Point cards get discarded normally after they have been played? A: No, they remain on the table in front of the person who played the card. Q: On the "City Hall Clock" Power Point card it says, ". . . after the Wells Fargo Wagon has arrived." What does that mean? A: The "Wells Fargo Wagon" Event Card must have been played (not discarded) during any previous Event Phase. Q: What is the difference between a Skill and a Commodity? A: Skills are Resources which are represented by a square, and Commodities are Resources which are represented by circles. Q: Can you play the "Land Grant" event if City Hall is closed? A: Yes, but you don't get a Building Permit. Q: Do you get the rewards for a building site every turn? A: No, only on the turn you put up the building. Blindside

Q: What do you do if the only cards you have in your hand are 1s and 1s are at the top of the discard pile? A: You must discard a 1 and draw one card from the draw pile. Q: What do you do if you only have wild cards? A: You can use the wild cards as any number. So, you may call some or all of ones and use them to take cards from the discard pile or you may call any one of the wild cards some number (e.g. "seven"), discard it, and draw that many cards from the draw pile. |
